Current trends in climate change leading to the low productivity of agricultural crops. The reasons may be global warming, soil erosion, soil exhaustion and other forms of land degradation. Researchers say that these are problems that need to be addressed. And if the attention given over soil, can enhance the productivity of agricultural food by more than 25%. ISRIC and Wageningen University conducted this research and come up with these postulates. This research has gained much popularity on the eve of Global Soil Week, which took place from 18-22 November 2012. Global Soil Week event, which held for the first time, attracted researchers and policymakers to discuss on various plans and approaches to the existing problems of land degradation. Land degradation, mainly constitute of soil erosion, has been the major problem in the northern parts of China, where if this problem is addressed, the productivity can be increased by 25%. Many necessary steps have been taken but all of them found to be no where motivated. It is very important to drive the new strategies so as to get better future. Soil profiling and soil richness to be enhanced for surplus food production.
